In 2016, Deepika Padukone has not done any single Bollywood film and focused only on her action drama film with Vin Diesel. It is also one of her first Hollywood projects, so she made sure that it turns out well. Vin Diesel is highly impressed with the Indian beauty and he might cast him in one of his upcoming films.
Directed by DJ Caruso, the film also stars Kris Wu, Ruby Rose, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev, Toni Collette and Samuel L. Jackson in titular roles. Apart for this, Deepika Padukone will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali starrer Padmavati, which is slated to release by the end of 2017. The film is a historical drama, which also stars her boyfriend, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
Overall, Deepika Padukone has done the magic in her role of Serena Unger. We just wish that she do get more roles in the Hollywood arena!
