Deepika Padukone was undertaken with her controversy of video of “My choice” which was directed by Homi Adajania made to the internet . She was then blamed for promoting infidelity in a relationship through this short film. Critics bashed her cashing in on the latest trending topic of feminism. Deepika Padukone’s affair with Vijay Mallya's son Sidharth Mallya’s and it was not a hidden affair. Everyone knew about it and well it became controversy after the lip lock of her on winning match came in the limelight. This controversy was taken under the limelight when Deepika spoke about Ranbir and she uses to hate him so much after he betrayed him. Deepika made striking comments her the ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor including that ‘he should feature in a condom advertisement.’ This hurt Ranbir Kapoor's father Rishi Kapoor and he even posts some comments against Deepika. This controversy upset Deepika Padukone when she hurt that the song got many likes and appreciated but it didn't do well with some people. The song was a super hit, but apparently, the lyrics of the song didn’t amuse some. Reports also said that veteran actor Dev Anand was upset with the way the song was used in this new-age film. This was the biggest controversy of Deepika Padukone in her whole life, Well it didn't hurt her but all the women who don't feel safe and media give them a negative effect. In 2014, Deepika Padukone grabbed headlines when she lashed out at one of the leading publications for emphasizing on her cleavage. This later turned into a big controversy with some supporting the lady and some other counter attacking her. In this controversy, Deepika Padukone indirectly took the name of the actress who went under plastic surgery and it was very much embarrassing for the actress and it was a huge controversy and it has also affected the actress carrier. Deepika, along with Sonam Kapoor, took pot shots on the actresses who went under the knife. This invited a lot of flak for the actress. In movie ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram-Leela’ Deepika Padukone was highlighted and there was case file against the actors and director for using the Hindu mythology in the wrong way. The case was filed by the society members. Apparently, arrest charges were levied against Deepika, Ranveer and Sanjay Leela Bhansali following a complaint filed in Jalandhar Police Station.
