It is heard that Ranveer Singh will be doing ’83 film, based on the life and journey of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev! Before filming ’83, Ranveer Singh shares a post for the cricketer and the cherry on the cake is that Deepika Padukone shall be playing his on screen wife in the movie!

According to a source, “Her role requires just seven days of shooting. The filmmakers believe the part where Romi Bhatia left the stadium mid-way assuming that West Indies will win the 1983 World Cup final, and the difficulties she encountered in coming back into the stadium when India was on the verge of winning, can be well emoted by Deepika.”

On working together, Ranveer Singh said, “I would not give any weight age to what happened in the past. It’s irrelevant. We are different actors, and we have an amazing equation. We have so many fans who love our jodi and together we want to make the best for them. But it will depend on the subject”
Ranveer Singh has already signed up for another project involving legendary cricketer Kapil Dev’s Devils win during the World Cup of 1983. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film is titled 83. There will be a boot camp where they all will be trained for (playing) cricket. “Members of the 1983 World Cup squad will be helping us, they will be there as consultants and coaches for the team. It will begin next year,” Kabir Khan had earlier told a leading media house!
