When Katrina Kaif walked to Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding reception which took place in Mumbai, it grabbed everyone’s attention. As we that previously these two leading ladies of Bollywood shared cold vibes because Ranbir cheated on Deepika with Katrina Kaif. Often at Koffee With Karan, Katrina expressed displeasure for the Cocktail actress.
After wedding, Deepika took an initiative ‘to let bygones be the bygones’ and invited Katrina to be part of her big day celebration. Katrina cashed the opportunity and reached to the reception to congratulate the newly weds. Post that Deepika also started following Katrina on Instagram too. This can mark the beginning of the new friendship.
In an interview with Filmfare, Deepika was asked about the current equation with Katrina, actress revealed, “A lot of water has flown under the bridge. For me, just the fact that she came and was very present was gracious (of her). I’ve always been fond of her. You know, just the way that she’s been over the years, and with her work and I have a lot of respect for that. I made my peace with her.”
Earlier, Katrina Kaif revealed that she had a great time at Ranveer-Deepika’s wedding reception. Even few videos were circulated over social media where actress was spotted enjoying every bit of the party. There was no awkwardness. “It was a really warm and fun evening and we all had a good time. There was a lot of love and we all danced and ate and had great fun! I was there till the wee hours of the morning,” said Kaif.
