These days social media is flooded with wedding pictures of TV couple Deepika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim. From haldi ceremony to mehendi to marriage, their pictures have become a center of attraction since couple of days. The couple has set an example by doing a pre-wedding shoot in a Bollywood style. They have recreated the Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge song for the pre-wedding shoot. In the sangeet ceremony, the couple was dancing in full spirit on the song ‘Sunn Mere Humsafar’ from Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya and ‘Chal Pyaar Karegi’ from ‘Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai’.
On 22nd February the couple tied the knot in Shoaib’s paternal hometown Bhopal. It was a hush-hush ceremony where only family members and close friends were present. As per a source close to the couple, Shoaib and Dipika wanted a very personalized affair. The source said, “Being quite private people, they chose to have the ceremonies in Bhopal to avoid the constant media attention. Also, with Shoaib’s family residing there, it helped them in organizing a grand yet a close-knit wedding. Only the closest of the friends have been invited but the rest would get to wish the newlyweds in a reception in Mumbai.”
The wedding took place in Islamic rituals. For this marriage, actress Deepika Kakar has changed her religion and also her name. As per reports she has changed her name to ‘Faiza’. Even on the wedding card that was distributed in the village, Deepika’s name was written as ‘Faiza’.
The lovely couple met on the sets of ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ and some spark happened and they eventually fell in love with each other. The couple also appeared in dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye 8′ and their chemistry in the show was very much appreciated by the judges as well as their fans. This is Deepika’s second marriage with Shoaib. Her first marriage didn’t last long and in 2015 Deepika gave divorce to her husband.
