The movie stars Fatima Sana Shaikh in Geeta Phoghat role and Sanya Malhotra in Babita Phoghat role. Apart from this two, the younger version of their role have been essayed by Zaira Wasim (Geeta) and Suhani Bhatnagar (Babita). These 4 girls have has been trained by a professional coach for over 7-8 months and the result is easily visible in the Dangal songs and trailer.
Zaira was one of those girls who had struggled a lot for the role. Well, her hard work pays well and the first take off her scene is turned out at the final cut. Sanya too impressed the makers through her wrestling abilities.
Overall, these girls give all of us a serious wrestling goals. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film also stars Sakshi Tanwar, Rajkummar Rao and Aparshakti Khurrana. Dangal is set to hit the theaters on December 23.
