Restaurants and hotels in the country are known for pissing off its customers, all thanks to the poor and unhygienic food quality. We have often stumbled upon the news of vegetarians getting non-veg food served. If that was not enough, even some insects have been found in the food, which can be termed as the epic mood spoiler for anyone.
In another unfortunate turn of events, the same thing happened in a local subway outlet in the Central Mall in Hyderabad. A businessman named Maruganti Vamshikrishna Reddy with his daughter went to a subway outlet to have a drink.
However, his daughter found a live cockroach in her cold drink. As expected, he got extremely furious after the incident and scolded the staff of the outlet. Now, a video is going viral on the social media, where one can see a man taking a class of the staff member. Even her daughter is furiously shouting at them. You can also see staff member grabbing the phone so that the no one record the video.

Furious with the incident, the Hyderabad business filed a police complaint against the outlet at the Punjagutta Police station and with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). Then police raided the outlet and found several cockroaches in the storage room.
The said outlet was shut down on Thursday evening.
Talking about the incident, Vamshi was quoted saying to TNM,
“We went for shopping since it was my daughter’s birthday the next day. After shopping, my daughter felt thirsty and ordered a cool drink. She felt something weird while sipping on it and that’s when we saw cockroaches in the drink.”
Food Inspector, Sudharshan Reddy said,
“We have collected the samples and sent it for examination. We haven’t closed it. The outlet owner itself said that she will close down the outlet for a week for renovation and pest control.”
Such incidents should be stopped at any cost. We can only hope that it doesn’t happen to anyone in the future.
