Bollywood upcoming flick ‘31st October‘ is based on a very sensitive topic of assasination of the former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and its aftermath story. At latest, the trailer of the film is out now and the two lead actors Vir Das and Soha Ali Khan looks promising.
Yes, we know the story subject is very sensitive but offcourse it’s cinema and the filmmakers have all the right to present the story for the die-hard cinema loving audience. The trailer is very intense and gives us goosebumps about what may have happened after the assasination.
The film has already showcased in many film festivals including ‘Vancouver International Film Festival’ and ‘Toronto Film Festival’. The movie did garner good response at the festivals as this is the first film in India which talks about the post side story of the biggest ever shocking assasination.
The movie is produced and written by Harry Sachdeva. He said,”It was not an easy journey to attempt and complete ’31st October’, owing to the sensitivity of the subject in which thousands of Sikh families had to leave their country and settle in a foreign land.”
Directed by National award winner Shivaji Lotan Patil, the film is all set to hit the theatres on October 7.
