Alia Bhatt had made no bones about the fact that she has a massive crush on Ranbir Kapoor, and would not mind marrying him (we’re not entirely surprised).
Age-gap be damned, the world has been waiting for the two actors to be paired up opposite one another for a while now, and it looks like Ayan Mukherji may finally be making it happen! It had earlier been reported that the three of them had met in London to discuss the film, and a few images had also surfaced from the meeting.
Alia has now confirmed this news, according to an article in a leading daily saying, “Yes, I am doing Ayan’s film with Ranbir. We begin at the end of the year.”
The whole brouhaha had started during the promotions of Alia Bhatt-starrer Highway, when Ranbir had requested Ayan to cast the two together in a film. While we’d been hearing rumours about this casting coup for a while, 2016 is the year it finally materialises.
The film, reportedly a superhero flick that may be turned in a trilogy depending on its fate at the box office, is tentatively titled Dragon. It will be Ayan Mukherji’s third film with Ranbir Kapoor.
