For the longest time, Karan Johar’s directorial venture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has been mired in controversies.
Following the subsequent ban on Pakistani artists, political wing MNS attacked KJo and his film. Now there are reports that they want to stop the release of the film too.
Recently, there were a few rumours that started doing the rounds. First that Fawad Khan might be replaced in ADHM and Karan is getting Saif Ali Khan in place of the Pak actor. Second that the film won’t release on Diwali and that a ban on the film has been announced.
Truth is none of it is true. Karan has vehemently announced that he’s not budging from the release date and the film will hit theatres on October 28 as scheduled. He rubbished all such rumours with a tweet on Saturday.
As for Fawad getting replaced, a reliable source revealed, “That was definitely an option for Karan. But even if he wants to do it now, there’s not more time to shoot and then edit the film and get it ready. The film has less than 2 weeks in hand now. So that is out of question.”
So calm down guys, Fawad Khan will definitely be seen in his cameo appearance in ADHM and not just that, the film too will release on October 28 itself.
