“Confidence Doesn’t Exist In The Film Industry”-Ranbir Kapoor

We still remember the first look of Ranbir Kapoor from the movie ‘Sanju’. His resemblance with Sanjay Dutt left everyone stunned and for a second, the audience couldn’t believe their eyes. Wat a transformation it was! As the days are passing, the curiosity level has increased and moviegoers are eagerly waiting for this mega movie that has an ensemble cast including, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Karishma Tanna and Vicky Kaushal.

In the past two years, Ranbir has seen a downward spiral in spite of putting lots of efforts from his end. At this stage, ‘Sanju’ can be the turning point of his career and change his life as well. In a recent group print interview to filmymantra.com Ranbir spoke at length about his upcoming movie ‘Sanju’. He said, “Confidence doesn’t exist in the film industry.  Because eventually when your film releases on Friday that is when you really discover it. Sometimes the process of a film, the way you make it is so enjoyable that you just stay with that. I still have my fingers crossed and there is a hope that people will accept it as they have accepted the trailer.”

When I was working in ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ which was my third or fourth release I thought the film will not work at all but that turned out be such a hit. Also the same feeling I had with ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. You never know. Anything can happen because at the end of the day it is a movie.”
