While questioning about Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Raees’, Datar added, “We will see in the future. If the situation normalizes, we will screen ‘Raees.’ It’s not a decision we can take now.”
If these big movies will not see the light of the day than the theatre owners will face monetary loss. But, they doubt that if they release the movie their screens might vandalize. Datar further said, “The association is not going to screen any movie and the decision implies from today until things don’t get normal. States included under the association are Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Goa.”
Overall, it is a big setback to the makers of the film. Directed by Karan Johar, the film also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan in it. The film is set to release on October 28.
