Cinema Owners Association Bans ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ In Four States
One of the most awaited releases of the year ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘ is now under the dark clouds. Yes, the biggest setback for the film is, it won’t be released in four states in India. At latest, The Cinema Owners and Exhibitors Association of India (COEAI) has decided that no films will be releasing in India which stars Pakistani actors.
President of the COEAI, Nitin Datar said, “Keeping in mind the patriotic feeling and the national interest in mind, we request all our member exhibitors to refrain from screening movies which have involvement of any Pakistani artists, technicians, directors, music directors, etc. Till the relation between India and Pakistan becomes normal, no films with Pakistani actors can be released.”
