Mumbai: Bollywood’s dusky beauty Chitrangda Singh is all set to entertain audience with her upcoming project with Red Chillies Entertainment. Soon to be seen in Bob Biswas, a crime thriller, has shown a gesture of affection for her co-star Abhishek Bachchan on his birthday.
The lead actress from the upcoming crime thriller has sent Kolkata’s best ‘Rasagullas’ to Abhishek, as special birthday surprise, for his birthday on February 5.
A source close to the Bollywood actress stated that Chitrangda sent over Kolkata’s specialty ‘Rasaagullas’ to junior Bachchan, knowing that ‘Abhishek’ has a sweet tooth and they are his favourite.

“Chitrangda thought that it would be a fitting gift for Abhishek, given his fondness for desserts. She has been juggling professional commitments other than the movie and was not stationed in Kolkata while Bachchan was shooting for his portion in the city on his birthday. To make up for her absence, the actress sent him a pack of authentic baked ‘rasagullas’ from Kolkata’s most popular sweet mart,” stated a source close to Chitrangda.
People from the Bob Biswas unit said, “On the sets of Bob Biswas, the star cast including Bachchan and Chitrangda and filmmaker Sujoy, gorge on sweets very often in the shooting breaks.”
The actress had also tweeted and wished the ‘Dhoom’ fame a happy birthday on social media. “Happy birthday @juniorbachchan! Hero ko janamdin ki dhaaaeerr sari shubhokamnayein. Such a pleasure working with you,” the ‘Hazaron Khwaishein Aisi’ actress wrote.
Meanwhile, Chitrangda is busy donning the producer’s mantle for Soorma 2 as she awaits the release of her upcoming ‘Bob Biswas’ with Abhishek Bachchan.
