Chhapaak, that stars Vikrant Massey as Deepika’s on-screen husband. The movie is based on the life and journey of the acid attack victim Laxmi. Speaking of the film’s subject, Laxmi was 15 when she was attacked with acid by two middle-aged men. Apparently, she had rejected the advances of a 32-year-old man and in a fit of rage, he got her attacked.
