There have been excitement, liveliness, eagerness, and happiness around Divyanka’s house ever since she announced her wedding to Vivek Dahiya. The fans are curious to see her in the bridal outfit. It is no doubt that she is one of the most lovable TV star. On the other end, Vivek is also slowly picking up the charm onscreen.
The time is passing faster and only a few days are left for their wedding to take place. She seems to be all busy in the last minute shopping and preparations. Here are a few things shared by this doll from; ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, in one of her interviews with Hindustan Times.
- “It is sinking in – I am getting married! At times I get jitters, as I worry about things going perfectly. It’s an event.”
- “It’s sweet to know that people want to know everything about my wedding, but they should also respect my privacy. I am a celebrity, but I don’t want people standing outside my wedding venue.”
- “Yes, of course. Girls have more to wear. They have to prepare multiple dresses for the various functions, and keep the looks different too. Guys have it easy. They have to choose from a few colors and ensembles. Everyone wants the bride to look radiant, so one has to live up to those expectations too.”
- “I am looking forward to the pheras and the varmala. The bride and groom have a lot of fun during the varmala, as they tease each other, while trying to garland each other. The post-wedding rituals, the home-coming ritual, and the games the bride and groom play the break the ice are fun too.”
The sources have also revealed that Vivek was a bit concerned about his popularity compared to Divyanka’s fame and fan following. He wanted to do a secured lead before committing for marriage. Although, he is new to the industry compared to Divyanka, there seems to be no problem from the girl’s end. This only shows the intensity of their love and bonding for each other.
Finally, Vivek is seen more often doing a lead in Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural series; “Kawach… Kaali Shaktiyon Se”. The TV serial also features the popular Mona Singh. We truly hope that their grand marriage is a success!
