Censor Board Invites Two Historian from Jaipur To Watch “Padmavati”
The controversial movie “Padmavati” which is based on the life of Rajput Rani “Padmini”. Therefore to pass movie “Padmavati” from censor board, they call two historian from Jaipur to view movie “Padmavati”.
They said we have been invited by censor board to watch “Padmavati” and clear it from censor board, so that it will release soon in theater’s. The two historians are R S Khangarot, principal of the Agrawal College in Jaipur, and B L Gupta, a retired Rajasthan University professor.
According to sources, he said, “the conflict related to the movie is not between the Karni Sena and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, but it’s between Bhansali and history and hence “it will clear once we watch movie whether it’s restrain or not”.
On the other hand, Gupta said, “He is free for artistic freedom but not for the cost of history”. He added, “It’s important to know history but not in wrong way, so will comment after watching movie “Padmavati” whether it should release or not”.
The film, on the life of Rajput Rani Padmini, has run into trouble with Rajput groups alleging that it distorts history.
