CBSE 12th Result 2019: Toppers Hansika Shukla And Karishma Arora Score 99.8%
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today announced the results of Class 12 board examinations. Student can check the result on the official website of CBSE. The class 12 examinations were held between February 15 and April 4, 2019.

Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora have secured 499 out of 500 and emerged as the toppers. Hansika Shukla is a student of Delhi Public School in Ghaziabad, whereas Karishma Arora is from SD Public School at Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh.
This year, a total of 31, 14,821 students appeared for Class 10 and Class 12 board examination and out of which almost 13 Lakh students appeared for CBSE Class 12 board examination.
Girls have triumphed over boys by 9 percent. 88.70 percent of girls passed in the board exam, whereas 79.4 percent of boys passed. 83.3 percent of transgender also cleared this board exam.
The overall pass percentage for CBSE board exam 2019 is 83.4 percent which is higher than 83.01 percent of 2018 and 82.02 percent of 2017. The number of Students passing the exam has been increasing since 2016.
Vijay Ganesh from Kerala secured the first position in the differently able category by scoring 492 out of 500, whereas Pooja Kumari of Dehradun took the second position with 489 marks followed by Lavanya Jha at third with 487 marks.
