Bugatti took the automotive world by surprise with the one-off La Voiture Noire supercar revealed in Geneva as an ideological successor to the lost Atlantic. It has built a one-off sports car from carbon fibre, which has already been sold to an anonymous enthusiast for a price of €11 million.
Bugatti disclosed that the car was bought for €11 million (£9.5 million) before tax estimated at €16.7 million (£14.4 million) including tax making it “the most expensive new car of all time”. Have a look at the car below:
La Voiture Noire is powered by a 16-cylinder engine with a displacement of 8 litres that develops 1,500 PS of power and 1,600 Nm of torque. There are six tailpipes at the rear.

“This is not only an engine but the heart of the vehicle and a technical masterpiece. There is no other car in the world with such an engine. It is not only extremely powerful but also beautiful to look at,” Bugatti President Stephan Winkelmann said.
The design of the car is another speciality which adds a great dimension to its beauty. Every single component of the car has been handcrafted and the carbon fibre body has a deep black gloss only interrupted by the ultrafine fibre structure.
