Bollywood latest release ‘Kabali’ and ‘Madaari’ are doing well at the cinema house and that’s the reason why both the films did a good earning on the very first day. Though, Rajinikanth’s action flick ‘Kabali’ rules the roost but Irrfan Khan’s ‘Madari’ also shows good signs of a collection.
‘Kabali’, which was heavily marketed across the world, has earned Rs.3 crore net approx in the Hindi dubbed version on the first day. On the other side ‘Madaari’ also got a good audience hold and managed to rake up Rs.1.75 crore net approx on the release day.
It was expected that ‘Kabali’ movie will gulp down the other releases in a big way but it didn’t happen. Madaari’s collection proves that ‘Kabali’ didn’t get a good hold over to the audience in the north and the west of India. ‘Madaari’, which was a serious movie, has been well received by the audiences in Northern and Western circuits. Even Salman Khan starrer ‘Sultan’ has a good earning of Rs. 2.14 Crore on this Friday. It looks like Kabali’s Hindi Version will not affect the big run of ‘Sultan’ in the coming days.
Interestingly, ‘Kabali’ will shatter many records at the South India due to packed theatres for weeks, but in the Northern and Western Circuits, it will get the same response. So, ‘Madaari’ and ‘Sultan’ will do stable earnings in the coming weeks.
