Box Office Collection: Sachin Tendulkar’s First Weekend Collection

Sachin Tendulkar’s Documentary film Sachin: A Billion Dreams getting a tremendous response at the Box Office. It was released on May 26 and now it has completed its successful first weekend at the Box Office.

Sachin’s documentary was released in 2400 screens in India and 400 screens in the overseas market. The movie has started on a good, not on Friday and rake 8.40 crores nett collection. On Saturday, it has collected another 9.20 crores and made the total 17.60 crores. The Sunday collection saw a decent hype and the movie went on to add another 10.25 crores. This has made the total score of 27.85 crores in all the five languages. Yes, the film was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and English version.


This movie talks about the various phases of Sachin Tendulkar’s life. It’s not just a movie but it’s a complete journey of Sachin Tendulkar in a 2 hour 20 minutes movie. He is the living legend who also got honored with Bharat Ratna award from Government of India. He has several records in his kitty which seems impossible to break by any other cricketers in the world.
