Two grand movies released at this Friday on Dhanteras, one is the action drama film Shivaay and the other is Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. We were expecting that Shivaay will rule the roost at the Box Office at Day 1, but things have taken a drastic change. At latest, the collection of the first day is out now and the news will leave you in shock.
Despite audience favourite film was Shivaay but it only able to collect Rs. 10.24 Crores whereas Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil surprised everyone with the collection of Rs. 13.30 Crores. This clearly means that the romantic drama has won over an action drama.
On the strong points, Ajay Devgn film is good with actions and cinematography. On the other other hand, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is good in terms of emotions and romance. I personally liked both the movies for various reasons. ADHM’s music is one of its strong points which keeps the audience engaging till the end of the movie.

According to Bollywoodlife source, “Ajay Devgn’s Diwali firecracker Shivaay notches Rs 10.24 Crores on Day 1! Further increase is expected at the box office over the weekend as the movie has received a positive response from the audience and movie connoisseurs are flocking theatres to catch the high octane action emotional drama in this festive season.”
Overall, the competition between both the movie is a serious one and it seems ADHM has the upper hand right now. Well, anything could happen at this Diwali and hope for the best for both the movies.
