Boney Kapoor Shared An Emotional Tweet From Sridevi’s Twitter Handle. It Will Make You Cry!
Entire nation along with Bollywood industry bid a final farewell to legendary actress Sridevi yesterday. Regarded as the first female superstar of Bollywood, the actress passed away on 24th February in Dubai due to accidental drowning. She was there attending a family wedding. She was accompanied by her husband Boney Kapoor and younger daughter Khushi Kapoor.
After a long wait of 3 days, the mortal remains of Sridevi were brought back in India on 27th February night. The condolence meet and the funeral of the actress took place yesterday in Mumbai. A bevy of B-Town stars attended her funeral. A sea of fans took over the streets of the city when they came to bid farewell to the actress.
The actress was dress in her favorite red and golden Kanjivaram saree. Watching her lying peacefully was a very emotional moment for all.
Her husband Boney Kapoor has issued an official statement through Sridevi’s Twitter account. A tweet from Sridevi’s account after her death was an emotional moment for her fans.

Boney Kapoor further urged fans to respect their need to grieve privately saying, “The curtains never come down on an actor’s life because they shine on the silver screen forever”
He also thanked his son Arjun and Anshula Kapoor for supporting them in the time of crisis. He further said that his only concern right now is to protect his daughters and move ahead in the life without his beloved wife.
