Bollywood’s All-Men Squad Meets PM Modi, Twitter SLAMS Them For Not Including Women

Bollywood is one of the largest film industries in the world and has so much influence in India. It has been said that our film industry is a firm believer in gender equality and treats women equal to men. However, a totally different scenario was seen when several members of Bollywood went to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. To everyone’s shock, not a single female member was in attendance in the meeting.

A total of 18 people from the industry including Akshay Kumar and Akshay Kumar met Prime Minister of India. Modi took to Twitter to share a picture and said that he had an enjoyable and fruitful discussion with everyone present in the meeting. Modi tweeted,

“Had an extensive and fruitful interaction with a delegation from the film and entertainment industry.

The delegation spoke about the strides being made by the film and entertainment industry, and gave valuable inputs relating to GST for their sector.”

However, the most shocking thing about the picture is that there were no women present at the event. This has not gone down well with netizens for a very valid reason. They slammed Modi and others for the same.
