Bollywood super hit movies remade by South Indian industry
The Indian audience have extremely differents tastes in cinema based on their regional preferences. This is one of the reasons why a lot of movies are made in both North and South Indian versions. All of us loved Shahid Kapoor in Kabir Singh which was a Bollywood remake of the South Indian movie Arjun Reddy.

Similarly, a lot of Bollywood blockbusters have also been remade by the Southern industry.

#1. Kahaani- Remade in Telegu as Anaamika
One of the most confounding actresses of Bollywood, Vidya Balan gave a phenomenal performance in her Silk Smita avatar. Soon after she gave another women centric super hit Kahani.
The movie received enormous love from the viewers with its mesmerizing screen plot and script. Based in Hyderabad, a Telegu remake named Anamika was made from this Bollywood movie.
#2. A Wednesday- Remade in Tamil as Unnaipol Oruvan and in Telegu as Eenadu
With the most incredible actors in the cast such as Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher, and Jimmy Shergil, A Wednesday went on to become a super hit in Bollywood. So much so that it was remade several times in all languages.
Indian industries like Tamil and Telegu remade the movie titled as Unnaipol Oruvan and Eenadu respectively. Hollywood too produced ‘The Common Man’ starring Ben Kingsley as a remake of A Wednesday.
#3. 3 Idiots- Remade in Tamil as Nanban
An astounding movie of the era, 3 Idiots became one of the finest Bollywood productions ever.
It was remade in Tamil as Nanban. The story is based on a novel by the famous author Chetan Bhagat.
#4. Delhi Belly – Remade in Tamil as Settai
A bold yet amazing movie in Bollywood, Delhi Belly had a huge fan following. It became one of the first few black comedy films to receive so much love.
The low budgeted movie was so appreciated by the audience that it was remade in Tamil titled as Settai.
