Bollywood Movies That Missed 100 Crore Club By An Inch

100 Crore Club is every filmmaker’s goal. At recent times when certain films are crossing 300 Crores, 100 Crore still remains a significant landmark. Everyone in the film business tries their best to reach this goal but unluckily many can’t.

One of the worst thing that can happen to any student is failing by 1 mark or getting late by a minute. Same it is with filmmakers who miss 100 crore club by just few digits. Here is the list of those films:

  1. Talaash

This film stars Amir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Rani Mukerjee in the lead roles. This movie earned INR 93.40 Crore, missing the 100 Crore club.

 

  1. Singh Is Bliing

This movie was the sequel of comedy film Singh Is King starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. This movie earned INR 90.25 Crore domestically.

 

  1. Raajneeti

This Prakash Jha directed movie was the highest grossing Bollywood ensembles. Eventually it managed to earn only INR 93.66 Crore. It was based on Indian hierarchical politics and starred Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Nana Patekar, Arjun Rampal, Ajay Devgan, Manoj Bajpayee, Naseeruddin Shah and many more.

 

  1. Baby

This movie was a collaboration of Neeraj Pandey and Akshay Kumar. Akshay Kumar also acted in this film. It also starred Anupam Kher and Tapsee Pannu in special roles. Eventually, it managed to earn INR 95.56 Crore.

 

  1. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

This Zoya Akhtar movie was unable to enter 100 Crore club but still it remains the best movie. It starred Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan and Abhay Deol along with Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin. It earned INR 90.27 Crore.

 

  1. Welcome Back

This movie is the sequel of Akshay Kumar starring Welcome. It was a comedy movie. However, in its second part John Abraham replaced Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif was replaced by Shruti Hasan. It managed to collect INR 96.69 Crore.
