Bollywood upcoming movie Housefull 3 is about to release on this Friday. But, looks like the film has come under the scanner due to the copyright issue. At latest, we got a hold of the F.I.R copy filed by Writer Farooq Barelvi, who claims that Akshay Kumar and Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has cheated on him by using his story without giving him the proper credentials.
Well, the whole issue was started way back in 2014. As per the complainant, Writer and Lyricist Farooq Barelvi states that he dictated his whole story to Akshay Kumar’s make-up man Narendra Khuswala. He also goes on to say that Narendra has arranged his meeting with Akshay and he too liked the movie. Akshay was ready to ready to act in the movie which was promised to be produced by Narendra. After that, Farooq signed a contract with them, by which he received token money of 51, 000 lakhs. In the contract, it was also written, that during the time of the release of the film, he will receive 11 lakhs rupees.
Well, everything was going on the right way. But Farooq got a setback when Narendra and Akshay’s partner Ashwini Yardi were started avoiding him. Farooq later got to know that the film was already made and it was titled as ‘Housefull 3’. As Farooq has already registered the script with Writers Association. So he left with no choice to file an F.I.R against the Producer Sajid Nadiad Wala, Director Sajid-Farhad, and Akshay Kumar’s make-up man Narendra Khuswala. The D.N. Nagar police have registered the F.I.R with following IPC section 420, 406, 379 and Copyright act.
Well, this is the not the first case we hear about the theft of script in Bollywood. As there are many cases opened up in the recent past in which some writers has also got their due back. Well, now the case is sub judice and we really hope the truth comes clearly in front of the people.
Helmed by Sajid-Farhad, the film also stars Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon in the lead roles. ‘Housefull 3’ is all set to release on June 3.
