Mallika Dua’s Dad Slams Akshay Kumar For His Insensitive Comment To His Daughter

Making somebody laugh is regarded as the toughest job. But we can say that doesn’t apply in our country. Here one can make anybody laugh with some abusive languages or sexist remarks. There are several popular YouTube channels, which are popular just because they use such remarks to crack you up. The sexiest job has become a very common means for comedy. These sexist jokes get lots of attention and shared by many on social media.

You must have remembered ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’. The show has given us some of the most popular comedians like Raju Srivastav, Kapil Sharma, and Bharti Singh to name a few. The show was one of the most popular shows in the country, but one sad part about the show was that it was filled with sexist jokes. The show has once again made its comeback after 9 years of hiatus to bring back some new comedians to the mainstream. The current season of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge is judged by none another superstar Akshay Kumar and mentored by popular comedians Zakir Khan, Mallika Dua, and Hussain Dalal.

A recent episode has caught everyone’s attention for all the wrong reasons. Judge Akshay Kumar was very happy with one performance. So Khiladi Kumar and mentors went on to ring the bell in order to praise the contestant’s performance. Then Akshay Kumar made a sexist remark to mentor Mallika Dua, which didn’t look good at all.

Akshay Kumar’s insensitive remarks to on Mallika Dua has not gone down well with her father, who is a noted journalist. Vinod Dua has slammed Akshay Kumar for her distasteful humor and language through a Facebook post, which was later deleted.

Slamming Akshay Kumar, Mallika Dua’s father wrote on Facebook:

“I AM GOING TO SCREW THIS CRETIN AKSHAY KUMAR FOR TELLING HIS CO WORKER MALLIKA DUA THAT ‘AAP BELL BAJAO MAIN AAP KO BAJATA HUN’ AT 5:26.THIS IS HIS SENSE OF HUMOR AND LANGUAGE. STAR PLUS..WAKE UP..”

Mallika also Tweeted about the same saying she doesn’t want any uncomfortable feeling at her work. Her Tweet reads, “So, I want humor to be limitless. I also don’t want to be uncomfortable at my work place 🙁 The lines are blurred. Thoughts?”

Casual sexism in our society is so natural that we don’t even realize when this happens. Ultimately, women have to suffer for this. It doesn’t seem that sexism is going to end in the workplace or the society any time soon.
