Bollywood Actor Jeetu Verma Badly Attacked By Highway Robberers In Rajasthan

Anything can happen to anyone and the recent incident with actor Jeetu Verma is certainly one of them. The actor, who has worked in many Bollywood movies, has been attacked by a group robberers in Chittoor, Rajasthan. It is one of the best summer festivals of folk and classical music. After attending the festival they left the venue and got hit by robbers in Chittoor. He is currently hospitalized at Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital in Mumbai, where he has been operated. Jeetu Verma's wife revealed the whole incident to the leading website, "We had left from Abu at 9.30 pm in the night; we were on the road, it was around 10.30 pm and we had stopped by the Dilwara village. And suddenly our car was pelted with stones. It was after few seconds we learned that it was tribals who were bombarding us with huge rocks! The stones were rolling from the cliff and the driver was unable to save us. It was a big rock that broke the glass and directly hit Jeetu in the eye." She further goes on to say, "I had heard about the attacks and how the tribals, who are highway robbers, but to experience a life threatening event was horrifying." Kusum Verma also goes on to say, "The cop themselves were afraid to visit that zone. When we asked them to file the FIR, they laid an unusual demand; asking us to travel all the way back to the unsafe location to explain what really happened. It wasn’t possible for us to travel all the way back and risk our lives again. As a result, no action was taken against the criminals. But we will file the complaint here once my husband recovers." As per the doctors, Jeetu Verma's eye has injured badly and it has also harmed the retina. Kusum Verma concluded by saying, "He is going to be in the hospital for few more days and the second operation will take place tomorrow.: On the professional front, he has worked in the movies like Soldier, Tarzaan-The Wonder Car, Bol Bachchan, Son Of Sardaar and many more. Overall, this incident reveals the fact that how death-scary is to travel in the late night on the roads! We just wish that he recovers soon!
