Ae Dil Hai Mushkil controversy – This ban on Pakistani artists came just days before Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was slated to release. And the Karan Johar’s movie was facing a number of issues owing to the scenes of Fawad Khan in the movie. Raj Thackeray has strictly advised that the movie won’t be allowed to release in any of the Maharashtra cinemas. Udta Punjab Controversy – Similarly, Udta Punjab was also struggling to get a smooth release because of the constant abuses and the sensitive topic highlighted in the movie.
