Bigg Boss 18 written update, October 18: Chum Darang gets physically violent with Chaahat Pandey; here’s why

Trigger Warning: This article mentions physical violence.

On the October 18 episode of *Bigg Boss 18*, a major food fight erupted, sparking tension among housemates. After Avinash Mishra’s unexpected eviction and return to jail, he gained control of the entire ration supply provided by Bigg Boss. Avinash offered to distribute food only if the housemates discussed the previous day’s events peacefully, but Rajat Dalal and Karanveer Mehra led the opposition, sparking a hunger strike. Avinash then declared he would provide rations only to individuals.

As the housemates grew hungry, Chaahat approached Avinash for food and began cooking. This prompted Chum Darang to intervene, physically pulling Chaahat away and preventing her from using the gas appliances. The two engaged in a heated argument, with Chum hiding the gas burner and Sara turning off the gas line, further escalating the situation.

In addition to the confrontation between Chaahat and Chum, Shila Shirodkar had a major disagreement with Avinash over food choices. Shila requested chicken, but Avinash refused, offering only vegetarian food. When he retracted even the vegetarian option, Shila expressed her frustration, stating she wouldn’t beg for food and wouldn’t touch anything Avinash provided.

Hemlata Sharma also voiced her frustration during the chaotic scene, saying, “If you have so much ego, then don’t eat.”

Despite the initial chaos, the episode ended with the housemates finally enjoying their meal and performing sponsor tasks. However, the promo for the upcoming episode shows Salman Khan reprimanding the contestants for their actions during the food fight.
