Salman Khan was pronounced guilty by the Jodhpur court yesterday in Blackbuck poaching case 1998. The Jodhpur Sessions Court on Friday heard the bail plea of Bollywood star Salman and the court has reserved bail order for Saturday. This means Mr Khan will have to spend yet another night in prison.
The other co-accused in the case – Tabu, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari were cleared of all charges. A penalty of Rs 10,000 was also imposed on Salman, additionally.
Salman’s judges presented a 51-page bail plea to the court, along with a plea to suspend his 5-year jail term. Meanwhile, Salman’s brother – Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala will be going to Jodhpur to be by Khan’s side.
The actor was charged under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act and other stars under Sector 51 read with Section 149 (unlawful assembly) of the Indian Penal Code.
Talking about Salman’s movies, he is slated to star in four movies over the next two years – ‘Race 3’, ‘Dabangg 3’, ‘Kick 2’ and ‘Bharat’.
