It can’t get better than this! Acclaimed director Rajkumar Santoshi is all set to join hands with Anand L. Rai for a film. Rajkumar Santoshi will direct the film and Anand L. Rai will produce under his home production Colour Yellow Productions. Sonam Kapoor will play the lead character in the movie.
It would be the first time that Santoshi and Rai work on any project. Santoshi has been out of the showbiz business for quite some time now, his last film was Phata Poster Nikhla Hero released in 2013. It is a good news for Rajkumar Santoshi fans.
On the other hand, Anand L. Rai is currently busy with his directorial Zero, which features Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. The movie has created lots of buzzes ever since it was announced. The teaser of the movie has sky-rocketed the expectation. King Khan is playing a dwarf in the movie for the first time in his career.
Sonam Kapoor is currently busy in the promotional activity of her upcoming film Pad Man, which deals with menstrual hygiene in the country. The movie also features Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte in the lead roles. The movie is all set to release on 9th February 2018.
