Hosting the popular Quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati is such a great opportunity that no actor can resist it. Amitabh Bachchan was the first and most influential host of the show when it began in the year 2000. Amitabh was later replaced by Shahrukh Khan but the later could not impress the audience as much. Big B was brought again by the makers to restore the same popularity to the show. Even though there were many more shows of the same scheme , KBC could not be replaced as the most popular one. Now comes the news that the makers are planning a whole new season for the show with a currently popular young actor and guess who he is !!
If reports are to be believed then Ranbir Kapoor is being finalized for hosting KBC in the upcoming season. The young actor who is often called a superstar in the making has never worked on the television. Although we have seen him enough on interviews and chat shows, his entry on the small screen is quite surprising. The reports also say that the actor has been roped in for the show by offering him a whopping amount.
As we know actors consider television a big opportunity to connect with the audience. But since Ranbir does not have a clean image as the previous hosts of the show had, it will be quite interesting to see how warmly the senior audience will receive him. Ranbir is presently going through a string of failures in Bollywood films with his last film Ae Dil Hain Mushkil getting only a lukewarm response. He is looking forward to the release of his latest film Jagga Jasoos with his ex flame Katrina Kaif.
