Bhabhiji Actress Shubhangi Got Trolled For Her Bikini Picture, She SHUTS Them Down Like A Boss
Trolls are one thing, which has started to annoy everyone on social media, especially celebrities. We have seen celebrities getting trolled for various reasons quite often. However, this time Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain actress Shubhangi Atre had to bear the brunt of online trolls.
Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain is one of the most popular comedy shows in the country. Each and every character of the series is very popular among fans. Angoori Bhabhi is one of the main lead, which is played by Shubhangi Atre. Angoori Bhabhi’s character is a traditional Indian bahu, who wears traditional clothes all the time. Angoori Bhabhi is totally different than western and glamorous Anita Bhabhi.
It seems that people want Angoori Bhabhi to look like that in real life too, which is pretty harsh on the actress. Whenever they dress differently than their characters, they get brutally trolled, it applies to all the actresses. When Shubhangi wore western and different clothes than her character, some section of social media users slammed her.
It all started when Shubhangi shared some pictures from her latest vacation in Thailand. She was seen wearing a bikini on the beach, which is quite normal. She looked gorgeous in those pictures. Check out the pictures down below.
However, she failed to impress netizens with her new look. They trolled her for the bold avatar with some nasty comments. Check out some of the comments down below.
Shubhangi Atre has finally opened up about the trolls and she looked unaffected by all the negative comments she got. Talking about the same, she told Bombay Times,
“What do people expect me to wear on a beach? I obviously can’t be wearing a sari or salwar-kameez. I feel fit and I can pull off a swimsuit. I don’t regret posting the picture; in fact, it wasn’t a planned move. My husband clicked the photograph, and I liked it and posted it. Even on screen, I don’t mind wearing a bikini if a character demands it. If one has a good body, why should there be any qualms about flaunting it?”
She also added,
“Of course, it feels bad. I don’t think I looked cheap or vulgar. People expect me to be in the Angoori bhabhi costume all the time; often, they are shocked to see me in Western outfits. They need to understand that I am different from the character I play on screen. This is one of the reasons why women are scared of wearing what they want to. I don’t think women should be judged on the basis of their outfits, we need to change our mentality. Sharam and culture aankhon mein hote hain.”
We think it’s time trollers get a life and stop spreading so much negativity on social media. Anyone has right to live the way they want and it’s none of anyone’s business. What do you think? Tell us your thoughts in the comment section down below. Stay tuned to this space for more viral stories.
