Amidst rumors of pregnancy, Begum Kareena Kapoor Khan appeared at the City of Nawabs, Lucknow. No! She was not in town to promote a film, but to address sensitive issues related to women!
Kareena, UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador, had earlier launched the Child-Friendly School and Systems package in New Delhi which is designed to enable children to benefit from child friendly and inclusive learning environments. The ‘Ki & Ka’ actress was in Lucknow recently on behalf of UNICEF at an event which was organised to shine light on an issue which people are often reluctant to talk about – menstruation!
