Ayushmann Khurrana made his debut in Bollywood with the film Vicky Donor. Since then, Ayushmann kept his roles best and deliver some of the best stories so far. The actor recounted his story of how he landed the role of Vicky Arora.
Before he enters the Bollywood world, he won a reality show Roadies and did hosting in many reality and award shows. He revealed that when he first heard about sperm donation he took the script and agreed for the film. The director of the film Shoojit Sircar was hunting for a 20-year-old, a Punjabi guy to do the lead role for his rom-com, Vicky Donor.
Before he did this film, Ayushmann had known what sperm donation is. Back in 2004 Roadies, he was asked to donate sperm at the clinic in Allahabad as part of a task and he had actually done it.
He further said, “Seven years later, when we were filming Vicky Donor, Shoojit da was pleasantly surprised that I not only knew about the process but it also didn’t make me cringe!”
He was not nervous but was very confident to play this role. He worked in the television so he had turned down almost six lead roles.
