Valentine’s Day was celebrated all over the world with lots of love. Everyone celebrated V-Day in the way they wanted. But not Bajrang Dal, unless you spent your life living under the rock, you know what they think about Valentine’s Day.
The State Convener for Bajrang Dal in Telangana, Subash Chandra was quoted saying to a daily The News Minute that 30 teams will be deployed in the state to protest or look for the couples celebrating V-Day. He said,
“We will take out bike rallies, we will burn effigies in the street. We will make the couples call their parents and tell them what their children are up to.”
Yesterday, a group of people found a couple celebrating Valentine’s Day at Kandlakoya Oxygen Park in Hyderabad. After spotting them the group forced the couple to them to get married by tying a mangalsutra around women’s neck. They filmed the entire incident and shared the video on YouTube in order to discourage couples from celebrating V-Day.
As per the report of Times Now, the police have taken these activists in preventive custody. However, no complaint has been filed because the couple agreed to the marriage.
