As per reports, the English Vinglish actress was offered the powerful role of Rajmata Shivagami. But Sridevi charged an amount of Rs 6 crores which the makers couldn’t agree, whereas Ramya played the role for Rs 2.5 crores.

Bahubali 2 got released in over 8000 screens in India and doing very well at the box office. If it continues to go in this mode, then for the next few weeks it is going to give a tough competition to other movies.
On the work front, Sridevi, will be seen in her husband’s Boney Kapoor’s home production MOM. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the movie also stars Akshaye Khanna, Abhimanyu Singh, Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui in pivotal roles. Nawazuddin Siddiqui has a special role in the movie. The movie is set to release on 7th July this year.
