The major collections source of the movie was earned in the Telugu version, where it collected Rs. 53 crores. Talking about the collection, trade analyst Trinath said, “The film has taken a phenomenal opening. In Andhra and Telangana, the film in Telugu minted Rs. 53 crore, making it the biggest opening ever for any film across language in the two states. The film is expected to collect over Rs. 100 crore from the two states over the weekend.”
Trinath also added, “If the early morning shows were not canceled across Tamil Nadu on Friday, the film could have collected even more. According to early estimates, it has minted around Rs. 12 crores. It’s going pick up over the weekend.” In Kerala, the film has raked up Rs. 7 crores, which is a record in itself. If we add the total collections of all the versions, it makes a grand total of 113 crores.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj, and Ramya Krishnan in titular roles.
Overall, Bahubali 2 first day earning is remarkable and we could hope that the earning continues in the same way.
