Bahubali 2 Faces Huge Loss Due To Its Leakage
There is no doubt that SS Rajamouli’s epic drama has garnered lots of applause and appreciations. But we can’t deny the fact that it has also faced many challenges and difficulties after its release. The producers of this magnum opus are heavily affected by the piracy of the movie. Members of Tamil Film Producer’s Council have lodged a complaint about the piracy and said that the producers of Baahubali 2 : The Conclusion had to face huge loss due to piracy. The complaint was lodged against piracy website Tamil Rockers for uploading pirated versions. Tamilian actor Vishal Krishna who was recently elected as the President of Tamil Film Producer’s Council has requested the police to take action against the culprits and take down all the illegal websites and charge them for the same.

The members of the council have also said that they have found out many illegal websites and their IP addresses where Baahubali 2 was available for illegal download. Not only this. On its release day itself i.e on 28th April, the pirated versions of the movie were leaked online. In Kuwait, a viewer watched the movie on line on his Facebook account. President Vishal Krishna said, “We met the police commissioner on our complaint seeking action against piracy of Baahubali 2.”
Apart from this problem, the Tamil movie industry has to face a lot more. There is also Cable TV piracy and as per reports, there are no buyers to take the satellite rights of about 300 films which include movies like Kabali and Theri.
Vishal and his team have promised to check the issue as soon as possible. In spite of all these hurdles the movie has become a big hit and it has set a benchmark in the history of Indian cinema.
