The gross total of the film is right now stands at 565 crores and overseas collections is up to 135 crores. And that makes the worldwide total of the film 625 crores in the first five days. Now Bahubali 2 will soon break the worldwide record of PK and Dangal, which is 792 crores and 742 crores respectively. By the end of the first week, these two big records will surely be broken by SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Bahubali 2.
After seeing the good performance of Bahubali 2 on the silver screen, SS Rajamouli thanked to the audience. He said, “It’s only natural that a big project like Baahubali faces hurdles during release. I must say that the enormous love and support that was given by Baahubali fans made us cruise through the obstacles.”
He further tweeted, “Thank you everyone who have been with us for the past five years encouraging us at every turn. You have given us such a big success that we can keep it in our hearts for the rest of our lives.”
Helmed by SS Rajamouli, the film stars Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan and Tamannaah in titular roles.
