Badly Pulled into “Padmavati” Controversy. Here’s What the Actor Did!

All India Kshatriya Mahaseba wanted Prabhas, the famous Baahubali star to speak to their favour in the Padmavati controversy!

There are many Bollywood actors as well as celebrities from other industries, who have come up with their opinion. Stars like Twinkle Khanna, Sonam Kapoor, Ritesh Deshmukh, Bhumi Pednekar and others who have tweeted in support of the film Padmavati.

Recently, Prabhas, the Bahubali star was also dragged into the controversy. When on the one hand, the actor’s co-star from the next film Saaho, Shraddha Kapoor has spoken in favour of Padmavati, saying that whatever is happening is quite saddening but on the other hand, Prabhas has decided not to speak about the matter.

According to the reports of India Today, All India Kshatriya Mahasabha has tried its best to get the actor speak on its behalf. However, they failed in convincing him. It seems that Prabhas, who is a Kshatriya himself, does not want to get caught between his community and the industry he is working for.

Even reportedly, he was adviced by his uncle Krishnam Raju to stay away from the controversy, as it is very likely that anything the actor says, may backfire on him.

Speaking of the movie Padmavati, till now the film has not been certified by CBFC. Though it has been cleared by British board for the release on December 1, makers of the film do not want to release it anywhere before India.
