All the movies costing a bomb for the producers including Prem rattan Dhan payao (1.80 billion), Bjirao mastani (1.45 Billion) Ra one (1.30 Billion)or may it be India’s biggest motion picture till date, directed by S. S. Rajamouli Baahubali (1.5 Billion),
none of them would have been a hit without the extraordinary story line and especially the Villains.

bahubali3_1444303453_725x725Villains play an equally important role as the Hero. Just like Rana Daggubati who played the unforgettable role of Bhallaladeva, the cruel king.  Now opens up details about his role in Baahubali 2.
Rana Daggubati said” you have seen the younger version, and you have seen the older version. But part 2 it’s a meaner, stronger older man. In terms of looks, it’s going to be far meaner and powerful.”
Woah! Now this creates a huge amount of excitement about the film and the film looks even more promising.
When asked about what aspect/quality about Bhallala DevaRana Daggubati could relate to, despite being a negative character, here’s what he said, “Barring the negative (aspect) anyway, if you look at the character itself, he’s very disciplined in the way he does things. He is a warrior, he is military trained and on the dot, he is very focused. The only thing he has focused on is the throne and he will do whatever it is to get there. In that sense, he has a clear focus. I have a clear focus of what I want to do in life general.”
When asked if he was afraid that would affect his image, the Baahubali actor was quick to deny it – “Not at all, not in films like these.” He continues elaborating it even further. “In Telugu films, the biggest superstars played the villains. NT Rama Rao played Duryodhana and hear the tale of Ramayan, Raavan is as big as Ram. So Bhallaladeva Is exactly something like that. See when you make a period war film, the reason you cast somebody so big us because you want the antagonist to be far bigger and more powerful than what the protagonist is. In that sense, it helps in every way in my career.” That’s all the Baahubali actor had to say. Hope it answers all you question regarding his role.
