You must have heard the classic song ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ from Sunil Dutt starrer Cult movie ‘Padosan’. Even the same tune you will hear in upcoming film ‘Meri Pyari Bindu’. Backed by Yash Raj Films, the movie stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra in lead roles. To create the more curiosity among fans, the makers have finally revealed the Ayushman’s character from the film.
From last year only we have heard about the news related to upcoming film ‘Meri Pyari Bindu’ but it was only in February when it was officially confirmed. In February, the makers have released a small video of Parineeti Chopra where she expressed the confirmation for the film. She went on to add that she is also making her debut in singing with this movie.
Parineeti Chopra, who is literally away from the films from last one year, must be feeling a sigh of relief with this movie. In recent past, her films ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’ and ‘Kill Dil’ went unnoticed by the audience. Since then she was badly waiting for a good film to come in her way. So now she is again ready to play the leading lady ‘Bindu’ in her coming film.
The Hero of the movie is Ayushmann Khurrana who has already carved his niche as an actor-singer in Bollywood Industry. His last effort in romantic comedy ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ is still etched in fans mind. So it’s a great time for him to come again in yet another romantic film. In the film, he is playing the character of Abhimanyu Roy, who is an author.
The movie is a love story about an aspiring singer and her funny tales. Helmed by debutant director Akshay Roy, the film is being produced by Maneesh Sharma. The film is currently on the floors now. We really wish to see how Parineeti character builds up. The film is all slated to release in 2017.
