Renowned Bollywood producer Ashvini Yardi’s latest Television serial ‘Waaris’ has garnered a lot of appraisal for its unique story element. ‘Waaris’ is an Indian Hindi drama television series, which premiered on 16 May 2016 and is currently broadcast on &TV. At latest, A party has been organised in the Tinsel-town to celebrate the great response of TV Serial ‘Waaris’.
The party was graced by all the star-cast of the serial ‘Waaris’ along with the producer Ashvini Yardi. Ashvini has also produced movie like ‘OMG – Oh My God!’, ‘72 Miles’, ‘Bhaji in Problem’, ‘Fugly’ and ‘Singh Is Bliing’.
The show ‘Waaris’ is set in the rural hinterland. It talks about two warring clans, the ‘Pawanias’ and ‘Bajwas’. In the show, we are introduced to a stressed Amba Pawania (Aarti Singh), who is pregnant for the third time. She already has two daughters and is dreading the thought of having a third daughter. Above all, Family members and neighbours take continuous jibes at her for not being able to produce a male heir.
Her husband, Charan Pawania (Iqbal Khan) is okay with having daughters. However, he also believes that a male heir is necessary to retain peace and power. He is a hard-working, peace-loving and religious farmer.
