Ashutosh Gowariker’s “Mohenjo daro” in Trouble
Akashaditya Lama who has made such other TV serials like Chehra, Kasak, Kumkum, he also has written a play called Mohenjo dar. Akashaditya Lama had dragged the film’s story writer, director and producers to court accusing them of stealing his story for the Hrithik Roshan starrer. The HC not only dismissed the plea for any relief against the film, but also imposed a cost of Rs 1.5 lakh on Lama. The court has ordered him to donate the money to Nana Patekar Foundation, after Ashutosh Gowariker’s lawyer, Ravi Kadam, requested the money to be given to a welfare organization.
The artistic liberty taken by the maker to show the Indus Valley civilization did not go down well with many. Also, there was a plea against the film filed on grounds of copyright infringement. While to get answer on the ‘artistic liberty’ fiasco we might have to wait for the release of the film, the copyright infringement plea has been rejected by the High Court.
So now Ashutosh is in a big trouble and let’s see whether the movie is appealing or not because as per the requirement and looking at the past acting of Hrithik Roshan in Jodha Akbar it is good to say that we have actors like him.
It is Hrithik Roshan’s second collaboration with the actor after Jodhaa Akbar. The film’s music is composed by AR Rahman. It marks the debut of Pooja Hegde into Bollywood
