Manmarziyaan is the new age Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, an Anurag Kashyap directorial that demonstrates a free and lively Rumi played by Taapsee Pannu finding escapes from family and responsibility all alone but strikingly likewise agrees upon the general mindset of the present generation. The movie, which already proved to be a dud at the box office is now surrounded by a new trouble. The Sikhs have demanded an FIR to be filled against Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and the filmmakers. Well, following this incident, there is a lot of development over twitter wherein Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Arjun Kapoor are seen playing major roles! Read in for details!
Ambala’s Sikh Sangat met on Monday at Gurdwara Manji Sahib to take a decision against the screening of the film Manmarziyaan. The community is highly enraged because of a couple of scenes in Manmarziyaan where Taapsee Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan, who play Sikhs, are seen smoking cigarettes and in a scene, Abhishek is seen removing his turban in an objectionable way.
Following the incident, Taapsee Pannu took her twitter to respond to a few tweets from her fans and reportedly, there was one user, who has now deleted the tweet, who wrote, “I swear i wish i was her father, all i need is my belt and a jutti. Shittar mar mar ke I would of taken the actress vala bhoot out from her.” To this, taapsee Pannu had written, “I already feel bad for your kids. God give them strength to live.”

After Taapsee Pannu’s response to the user, her Manmarziyaan co-star Vicky Kaushal, too, gave back the user a piece of his mind. He had written, “Dharam da maan rakhna jaande ho, apni thee da nahi. Phaaji bohot maan rakh laya apne Guruaan da ehe gal karke.”
Post which, Arjun Kapoor who is known for standing for the right, came out in support of the Manmarziyaan stars writing, “No religion allows violence. Nothing in this world justifies what this man has said. The more I read this the more it fuels anger towards this crass thought process. Who gives any man the authority to raise their hand on someone and make them decide what they should do or not do.”
