Mohi Suri, who directed Shraddha Kapoor in the past movies like Ek Villain and Aashiqui 2, says she is a quick learner. Talking to the leading daily, Mohit said, “Shraddha would train for hours on end every day for over a month. While Arjun is a basketball pro, Shraddha was supposed to play a university girl, who is damn good at it. It was important for her to get the basics right. She is a quick learner and also receptive to feedback. The DU girls, who play basketball, would play a game or two while we weren’t shooting.”
The movie is a romantic musical drama, just like Aashiqui 2. The story revolves around small town boy Madhav Jha (Arjun Kapoor) who falls in love with an upper-class beauty Riya Somani (Shraddha Kapoor). Thoug, they both are really different but still, they fall in love. The movie talks about the dark side of the relationships today and it will surely be a much watch movie for all the Shraddha Kapoor fans.
The title has a tagline which reads ‘More than a friend, less than a girlfriend’, this means that Riya was Madhav’s Half Girlfriend. Helmed by Mohit Suri, Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, the film is all set to hit the theaters on May 19.
Overall, the motion poster gives us a feel that the movie will surely struck the chord with the audience.
