Why did Arjun Kapoor not want to host GIMA Awards with Manish Paul?
Arjun Kapoor did NOT want to co-host the coveted GIMA (Global Indian Music Awards) 2015 with Manish Paul! Wonder why? It seems that the Gunday actor wanted the stage to himself. And yes, he did manage to have the final word in a sense.
Apparently Arjun Kapoor was to turn host for the Indian Grammy’s this year. And everything was going smooth until his team intervened and asked to for the Mickey Virus actor to be taken off the stage while Arjun was hosting. The production team was taken aback and tried to salvage the situation. We hear that the Kapoor lad was pretty chilled out about co-hosting with Manish, but his team didn’t want the actor to share the limelight with the Mad In India host.
Ultimately, the show went ahead with Arjun and Manish both being on the stage together. However, Manish was at the side stand, while Arjun took the centre stage. Well, this episode looks like a classic example of what we call in Hindi – “chai se ketli garam“, hai na?
